In the STOQ project at Bafid, I was responsible for transforming the process of “idea → specification → implementation → validation → release → review” into a trackable, reusable, and measurable pipeline. By applying the 80/20 principle, I continuously unblocked obstacles, ensuring that the right features were delivered to users faster and more reliably.
My team was distributed across Dubai, Mumbai, Russia, Kazakhstan, Canada, and France, with English as the primary working language. I led daily stand-ups and international meetings, took meeting minutes, clarified requirements, advanced progress, and ensured smooth collaboration across time zones.
My responsibilities covered requirement discovery and alignment (using AI tools to quickly distill noisy inputs into a one-page PRD), planning and decomposition (Jira Epics/Stories/Sub-tasks, DoR/DoD, WBS and milestones), execution and governance (daily EOD reports, a 30-minute unblock rule, Kanban health checks), and validation and release (side-by-side cross-platform rendering comparison, Friday Demos with Monday fixes, gray releases and rollbacks).
I spearheaded multiple key deliverables, including selecting Coze as the compliant agent backbone, while also building critical assets such as field mapping, unit normalization, barcode date parsing, JSON validators, and evaluation sets. Within one week, I completed a demonstrable, submittable, and gray-deployable version of Item Intake Copilot. To address cross-platform pixel consistency issues, I proposed a short-term solution using “image slicing + dynamic text” and a long-term approach using full code implementation, balancing user experience with delivery cadence.
By institutionalizing an AI-first approach, evidence-based decision-making, and a single source of truth (Jira/Slack), I established a metrics dashboard (speed, quality, experience, AI multiplier) and embedded retrospectives as routine practice. During my time at university, I co-founded Code Harbor, a youth programming education platform, with my peers. The platform’s core mission was to provide practical programming courses tailored for primary and secondary school students.
